I understand that you are primarily a wholesale frame company. Do you ever sell retail or to the general public? top

Yes, but we prefer to limit our retail sales to customers who do not live in the vicinity or have access to a “brick and mortar” needlework/frame shop which carries our frames. We urge you to support your local needlework shops whenever you can. You can find a list of shops currently carrying our frames by clicking on the ‘Shops’ button on our home page. What is the turnaround time from the time I place my order? top

Currently, we can make your frame in about a week’s time. This may change from time to time, depending on our volume, holiday schedules, etc. If turnaround time is going to be longer than that, we will let you know at the time you place your order.

I don’t do needlework. Are your frames suitable for anything else? top

Yes! We have had customers frame documents, photographs, paintings and even scrapbook pages. The possibilities are up to you!

How do you measure for ordering purposes? top

We measure the opening from the front side of the frame, or the “mirror image,” as it is sometimes called. For example, if the design size on your finished piece measures 8 x 10 inches and you would like ½ inch of fabric to show all the way around, your measurement for ordering purposes would be 9 x 11 inches. (Double the fabric to show on both the width and height and add to design size.)  We can cut to 1/8^th of an inch. As always, we can assist you with measuring for your order.

How do you ship? top

With most of our frames, we are able to ship USPS, priority mail. For larger orders/larger frames, we ship UPS. We can usually give you the cost of shipping at the time you place your order.

Is there a price advanatage for a retail customer who orders directly from the Web site as opposed to going through one of the retail shops? top

No. Our retail prices reflect the standard markup, and shipping charges are additional on all our retail orders. It may actually be to your advantage to order from your needlework framer.
